List Reports

A list report provides a simple tabular view of your data.

List Report Sample

Within the report editor, you can drag columns within the grid to reorder the fields.

By clicking on a column header, you can set the sort and sort direction of the fields within the grid.

Formatting Properties

The following properties are set in the Report Editor -> Configuration -> Report Properties -> Formatting.

  • Summary Row: Whether or not to show a summary row on the bottom of the report, summing up or averaging any measures on the report into total values.
  • Lock Headers: Whether or not to lock headers on the list, allowing users to still see headers as they scroll down the list.
  • Show Line Numbers: Whether or not to show line numbers on each row of the list.
  • Hide Headers: Whether or not to hide the header row on the report and only show the table body.
  • Hide Grid: Whether or not to hide the table grid and only show values.
  • Stripe Rows: Whether or not to apply background striping to rows in the table.
  • Max Rows to Display: If set, the report will be paginated into pages of the specified size. This setting ensures that the user's browser isn't overwhelmed by pulling back too many rows of data into the browser.
  • Font Size: Specifies the font size used in rendering the list.
  • Locked Columns: If a value is specified, the first N columns in the list will be locked so that users can still see their values as they scroll to the right in the report.
  • Minimum Column Width: If a value is set here (in pixels), each column will have that value as its minimum width. If you have a large number of columns in your list reports, this setting can be useful for ensuring that columns are wide enough to be clear to the user.
  • Default Measure Alignment: If specified, all measures on the report will be aligned to the specified direction of Left, Center, or Right.
  • Default Grouping Alignment: If specified, all groupings on the report will be aligned to the specified direction of Left, Center, or Right.
  • Default Date Alignment: If specified, all dates on the report will be aligned to the specified direction of Left, Center, or Right.
  • Font Family: If specified, the custom font configured will be used for rendering the list.
Color Scheme Properties

The following properties are set in the Report Editor -> Configuration -> Report Properties -> Color Scheme.

  • Color Set: This property determines which color scheme is used in the report. When set to Primary or Secondary, it will use the colors defined in your Account Skin in the Account section of the application. If you set the property to None, you can customize the color scheme for the report.
